LRS Bianchi Type-V Dust Filled Universe with Varying Λ(t) in Creation Field Theory of Gravitation

Abstract

We have studied the Hoyle-Narlikar C-field cosmology for LRS Bianchi type-V space times with varying cosmological constant Λ(t) when the universe is filled with dust distribution. To get deterministic solution, we assumed that Λ = 1/A² as considered by Chen & Wu (Phys. Rev. D 41:695, 1990), where A is a scale factor. The physical aspects of the model are also studied.
