Five Dimensional Plane Wave-like Solutions of Field Equations of Buchdahl in Generalized Peres Space-time

Abstract

Recently, Mohurley (2008) has solved five dimensional field equations in Einstein’s non-symmetric unified field theory using generalized Peres space-time and obtained five dimensional plane wave like solutions in ENSUFT. Buchdahl has modified the non-symmetric unified field theory proposed by Einstein with the introduction of some conditions in the field equations of Einstein. In the present paper, we have obtained  plane wave-like solutions of the field equations of Buchdahl in five dimensional generalized Peres-space-time used by Mohurley (2008). Thus the plane wave like solutions investigated in this paper are more general to that of Mohurley (2008).
