Does Earth Orbit the Sun in a Widening Elliptical Path

Abstract

The Ethiopic Book of Enoch, in chapter 82, verses 6 and 11, mentions that a year was composed of 364 days. Compared to our present calendar of 365¼ days in a year, this fact seems to point to the plausibility that Earth orbits the Sun in a widening elliptical path.
