On Newtonian Dynamics with Variable Mass of the Sun and Earth
Abstract
For more than 40 years, Jayant Narlikar & Halton Arp argued on possible variable mass hypothesis cosmology (VMH). In the meantime, the Earth expansion problem has attracted great interest. Recent geodetic evidence show that the Earth has been expanding at least over the recent several decades. In this article, we discuss some interesting effects related to varying G and argue that, instead of varying G, one may think in terms of varying mass. Further, we also discuss receding planets from the Sun, Pioneer spacecraft anomaly as proposed by B.G. Sidharth, and also possible slight change of LAGEOS Satellite. More specific investigations are recommended along this line of thoughts.
