Higher Dimensional Plane Symmetric Space-Time with Time-Dependent Cosmological Constant in Seaz-Ballester Theory of Gravitation
Abstract
In this paper, we have investigated five dimensional plane symmetric cosmological model with time dependent cosmological constant within the framework of Saez and Ballester theory of gravitation. In order to obtain the determinate solution of the field equations, we have assumed the equation of state p = γρ. The nature of the model is discussed in the presence of cosmological term. The physical and geometrical properties of the model are also discussed.
