The Mixmaster Universe with Variable Deceleration Parameter

Abstract

We have studied anisotropic and homogenous Bianchi Type IX cosmological model with dark energy fluid and variable deceleration parameter. The field equations have been solved by applying the condition that the shear scalar σ is proportional to the expansion scalar θ.  Physical and kinematical parameters of the models are discussed.
