Kaluza-Klein Anisotropic Dark Energy Cosmological Model with Time Dependent Deceleration Parameter

H. R. Ghate

Abstract

Kaluza-Klein cosmological model with variable equation of state parameter have been investigated in general relativity when universe is filled with dark energy. The field equations are solved by using the special form of deceleration parameter proposed by Saha et al. (Astrophys. Space Sci., Vol. 342, pp. 257-267, 2012) by considering the scale factor R = (tret)1/l, where r and l are positive constants, which yields a time dependent deceleration parameter (DP) q. This renders the universe from early decelerating phase to the recent accelerating phase. The physical and geometrical behavior of the model is also discussed.
