Some Cosmological Models in B-D Theory with Constant Deceleration Parameter

Abstract

With the help of the special law of variation for Hubble's parameter presented by Berman [1], it is the extension of the work done by Berman and Gomide [2]. Here exact solutions of Brans-Dicke field equations for perfect fluid in Robertson-Walker Universe assuming certain physical conditions and equation of state have been obtained. Also, our solutions are more generalized than the solutions obtained by Berman and Gomide in some cases. The physical and kinematical properties of the model are also discussed.
