Anisotropic Charged Star with Variable Cosmological Constant in Krori-Barua Space Time
Abstract
We have studied a static spherically symmetric Krori-Barua (J. Phys. A., Math. Gen. 8: 508, 1975) space time with the Einstein-Maxwell field equations in presence of radial dependence of cosmological constant viz. . To obtain exact solutions we assume that the cosmological constant is proportional to the matter density and the difference between tangential and radial pressures is proportional to square of the electric field intensity. We discuss various physical features of our model and show that the model satisfies all the regularity conditions, viz. TOV equations, Energy Conditions, Stability and Surface redshift of the stellar models.
