LRS Bianchi Type-I Models with Perfect Fluid & Dark Energy
Abstract
In this paper, we study LRS Bianchi type I cosmological model with perfect fluid and dark energy (phantom and quintessence). To get physical results, we assume that the shear (s) is proportional to the expansion (q) in LRS (Locally Rotationally Symmetric) Bianchi Type I model and potential V(f)=(l/n) fn where f is Higgs field. It is shown that the spatial volume increases with time. This represents inflationary scenario. The Higgs field is initially large but decreases with lapse of time for phantom field a=a(n+2)/(n-1) and for quintessence field also. The model in general anisotropic throughout but isotropizes for n = 1. Singularities in the model are also discussed.
