Bianchi Type-IX Universe with Perfect Fluid in f (R, T) Modified Theory of Gravitation

Abstract

Exact solution of the field equations for Bianchi type IX universe in the presence of perfect fluid in the framework of f(R, T) gravity proposed by Harko et al (Phys. Rev. D.84, 024020, 2011) is obtained. It is found that the universe is anisotropic, expanding and accelerating.
