Science Theory Tests & Cosmic Order

Robert Campbell

Abstract

The foundations of modern science are critically reviewed with respect to theoretical flaws that have not been formally acknowledged since no alternate theory that explains and corrects these flaws has been recognized by the academic community. Since the laws of science and its basic postulates seek to claim universal status they are implicitly considered to represent aspects of the cosmic order. To be universal all possible structural variants of phenomenal experience must be encompassed yet science theories are piecemeal patchworks on the landscape of experience. Since the open-ended nested hierarchical System of representing the cosmic order encompasses all possible varieties of phenomenal experience it can find a much better fit with the empirical evidence and additional tests can confirm its validity. It is not a belief system since it must find direct confirmation in phenomenal experience in the public and/or private domains. It is a universal methodology that complements traditional methods and facilitates direct intuitive insight into the dynamics of the creative process.
