Bianchi Type-I Bulk Viscous Cosmological Models in Lyra Geometry
Abstract
In this paper we have investigated an anisotropic Bianchi type-I space-time in presence of bulk viscous fluid within the framework of Lyra geometry with time dependent displacement vector. Coefficient of bulk viscosity is assumed as a simple linear function of Hubble parameter. Einstein’s field equations are solved with the help of variation law for the Hubble parameter which yields a constant value of deceleration parameter. The law generates power law and exponential form of average scale factor in terms of cosmic time. Some physical and kinematical parameters of the models are discussed. The models are found to be compatible with recent observations.
