FRW-type Kaluza-Klein Inflationary Cosmological Model in General Relativity

Abstract

Our aim, in this paper is to investigate FRW type Kaluza-Klein inflationary cosmological model, in general relativity, in the presence of mass less scalar field φ with a flat potential  V(φ).We have found an exact solution of Einstein field equations considering a flat region in which V(φ) is constant. Cosmological and dynamical parameters which are important in the discussion of the behavior of the model are obtained. Physical significance of these parameters is discussed in our model. It is observed that the inflationary scenario is possible in this universe.
