On a Set of Equations in the Newman-Penrose Formalism

Abstract

We exhibit a set of relations in the Newman-Penrose’s approach which unifies the Lanczos potential for Petrov types O, N, III, and D (empty) and the Bianchi identities for vacuum spacetime.
