LRS Bianchi Type-II Cosmological Model with Stiff Matter f(R, T) Gravity Theory
Abstract
Einstein's field equations are considered for a locally rotationally symmetric (LRS) Bianchi type-II space-time with perfect fluid within the framework of f(R, T) gravity theory. Exact solutions of the field equations for stiff-matter are obtained by applying a special law of variation for Hubble parameter that yields a constant value of the deceleration parameter. For special choice of a parameter appearing in mean scalar factor the cosmological model corresponds to the accelerated phase of the present-day universe. The physical and kinematical features of the cosmological model are discussed.
