Bianchi Type-V Viscous Fluid Cosmological Models in Lyra's Geometry
Abstract
The anisotropic Bianchi V cosmological model under the influence of both shear and bulk viscosities has been studied in Lyra's geometry. Exact solutions of the field equations are obtained by applying the law of variation for Hubble's parameter. The properties of the cosmological models are studied, and all physical and dynamical parameters are given explicitly in two types of cosmologies with constant deceleration parameters, one with power-law expansion and other one with exponential expansion. Cosmological model with power-law expansion has big-bang singularity at the time $t=0$ whereas the model with exponential expansion has no finite time-singularity. It has been observed that the solution are compatible with the results of recent observations in cosmology.
