High Energy Photon as Product State of Massive Particle-Antiparticle Pair
Abstract
According to our current understanding based on Special Theory of elativity("STR"), a massive particle cannot attain the light speed: c = 2.99872354x108 ms-1. On the other hand, STR does not forbid the existence of particles that travel at superluminal speeds. Only massless particles can travel at the speed of light. In this article, we show that it is plausible to have massive particles paired as product state travel at the speed of light.
