Theoretical Foundation of Electromagnetism

Abstract

In this paper we show that the theoretical model that we have introduced in the article “Theoretical foundation of gravito-electromagnetism” (published in PSTJ, volume 1, issue 7) not only is suitable to explain gravitation, but also provides a framework to understand the phenomena and to deduce the laws of electromagnetism. Furthermore, we discuss the generation of electromagnetic energy by an oscillating point charge and the transport of that energy by an electromagnetic wave. In particular we focus on the role of photons in this process and refer to the role that gravitons play in the analogue gravitational process.
