Is Cold Fusion Becoming a New Technology?

Abstract

There has been progress in cold fusion research lately and the most recent news about the work of Prof. Holmlid and his student might well mean the final breakthrough concerning practical applications which would include not only wasteless energy production but maybe also the production of elements such as metals. In this piece I discuss the model of Holmlid, point out its problems and discuss TGD inspired model which relies crucially on TGD based view about dark matter to solve these problems. An explanation is offered for the mysteriously looking production of mesons of hadron physics which in light of text book wisdom looks even more non-feasible than cold fusion.
