Dark Energy Cosmological Model with Linear Equation of State in f(T) Gravity

Abstract


A class of solutions of field equations in f(T) gravity  for spatially homogeneous and isotropic flat FRW universe with linear equation of state p = αρ - β, where α and β are constants has been investigated. In this universe, the field equation correspond to the particular choice of f(T) = α1T + β1Tn. An exact solution of field equations are obtained by applying the law of variation of Hubble’s parameter which yields a constant value of the deceleration parameter. The physical and geometrical parameters along with some kinematical test of the model discussed in detail.
