The Gravitational Field of an Accelerating Mass: Gravitational Waves

Antoine Acke

Abstract

In articles previously published in Prespacetime Journal, “information carried by informatons” has been introduced as a physical concept.  It was demonstrated that it is possible, with this concept as a starting point, to develop a theory of gravitation (the “theory of informatons”) without referring to GRT. It has been shown that the hypothesis that the substance of gravitational (and of electromagnetic) fields is “information carried by informatons”, makes it possible to explain the gravitational (and the electromagnetic) phenomena and to deduce - on a relatively simple way - the mathematical expressions of the laws which they obey.  In this article we develop a further consequence of the theory: we will demonstrate that an accelerated mass is the source of a “gravito-magnetic” wave and an emitter of “gravitons”.
