Axially Symmetric Domain Walls & Cosmic Strings in Modified Theory of Gravitation

Abstract

Axially symmetric metric is considered to study the effect of thick domain walls and cosmic strings in Barber’s second self-creation cosmology. The solutions of the field equations are obtained with the help of equations of state in both the cases. Some properties of the models are studied at the end.
